Introducing Team MBS USA 2009

Introducing the lovely Anita, Jane, Lesley, Mel and Jodi; Team MBS USA 2009. Follow our girls as they compete in major international Figure and Fit Body contests in the USA.

Anita, Jane, Lesley and Jodi train with Michael Tabban Personal Training at MBS Gym in Melbourne, Australia, while Mel trains all the way up in Cairns via Michael Tabban Online Training.


Anita is an experienced international athlete, having won titles too numerous to mention. Her achievements in 2009 include Elite Figure winner and Amateur Figure Open Tall winner at the IFBB NZ Elite Championships and Overall NABBA Figure winner at the NABBA/WFF Victorian Championships. In 2008 Anita placed highly in both the FAME Nth American Championships and WFF Universe Championships (Europe).

Lesley Maxwell has been competing since 2005, taking out multiple state, national and international titles. Along with Anita she was part of the 2008 Team MBS USA, placing in both the FAME Nth American Championships and INBF World Championships. In 2009 Lesley's achievements include Overall Ms Fit Body winner at the WNBF Victorian Championships and 1st places at the IFBB NZ Elite, NABBA/WFF Victoria, WNBF Asia-Pacific and ANB Victoria championships.

Jane Watts is a novice athlete in 2009 but has already won many titles including Overall figure at the Australian Defence Force Championships, Overall Ms Fit Body and Overall USA Figure at the WNBF Asia-Pacific Championships.

Mel Reynolds is another novice with multiple titles to her name, including Overall figure winner at the ANB North Queensland Championships and Overall Ms Fit Body winner at the WNBF Queensland Championships. Mel trains with Michael Tabban Online Training and joins the Victorian Team MBS girls for interstate and international comps.

Jodi is the youngest in the USA team, but shows lots of potential and has already done very well in competition, winning the Novice Ms Fit Body divisions at both the WNBF Victorian and WNBF Asia-Pacific Championships in 2009.
